It’s a tradition here in the Philippines, specifically Luzon? that during Holy Week on it’s Saturday, people go to beaches to celebrate Sabado de Gloria (April 23 this year) which obviously always falls on Saturdays.
April 23, 2011 is already summer vacation for students like me. And during summer vacation my sister and me always spends it at my mom’s home town, Sta. Catalina, Ilocos Sur.
So obviously we we’re there (Sta. Catalina) during April 23, but because some of our relatives from Manila and US came home and they want to go to Pagudpud which is near in our house in Burgos, Ilocos Norte, we drove there for Sabado de Gloria.
My cousin ze model, whom i love so much. Mua. :)
Pagudpud is like Boracay, white sand, beautiful pristine blue beaches, but here it’s more peaceful and hindi ‘pa’ masyadong crowded. And there’s still no malls and stand’s, only vendors like this who sells things like those.

Sikat kasi kami, kaya may photoshoot kuno. Hahaha
Taym to eat!

Then last is, dinner! We ate at Mang Inasal: Calle Crisologo Branch. Pagpunta namin madaming tao, so we waited outside muna.
Then we transferred inside after we have a place na. We can’t eat outside kasi, there’s just too much people passing us by! Plus i cant concentrate to eat when there’s too much people! Haha Chos. Actually it was kinda hot that night plus some thing near us smelled so bad, so there, we went inside na.
After dinner, nag lakad-lakad muna kami then it was time to go home already.
xx
Yesterday, i went to Banna w/ my classmates. It was our way to celebrate our Christmas party and also for the outing we’ve been organizing but wont push-through.
It’s the happiest moment i have w/ my classmates so far! Yes, we’ve been together for three years but still we are not that close to everybody even though we’re only about 25 in class, or maybe i should make that singular, I am still not close to them because i hardly stay in school during breaks. Uhh. Enough of the drama.
So. As i was saying i’m very happy yesterday. Everyone who came will never forget December 17, 200 the day we went to Banna. Grabe!
Walang basagan ng trip, lahat go w/ the flow, masayang masaya talaga. And i know and i feel na talaga namang naginf closer kami sa isat-isa. Grabe. Kahit malayo yung pinuntahan namin, maalikabok, lahat pagod? Walang nagreklamo, dahil lahat masaya.
Due to the fact we have visitors from my hometown in ilocos sur, we decided to give them a taste of Norte! We went to Paoay’s only café (as far as i know), Cafe Herencia where the famous ilocano dishes are turned into a pizza flava.
As you see in the pictures the place is very nice, but the service is really not good. See. We went there without a car, we commuted and we really didn’t look like tourists and definitely not foreigners! We’re just wearing simple clothing. Now. Here’s the “bad” part. There’s this woman (the chubby one) who served our pizza, she didn’t even said “excuse” when she served the pizza –the pizza who almost hit my face! darn. And, I don’t know if she’s just being an ass or she’s mad or something but when we sat on our chairs she just asked us “Ada order yun?!” in a effin mad tone! We let those things pass us,we just laugh it out in our nerves!
And i must say. Even if your food is good, many people wont come back if that’s the kind of service you have!
That’s all. I don’t want to belt out here. It might cause me to waste a lot of time and energy. So bye! Good vibes! :)
So, last tuesday pumunta kami dito sa falls na ito. Hindi ito alam sa bahay dahil sinabi ko na may school activity kami that day.
8AM yung usapan na time, pero napunta sa quarter to 10 kasi madaming nalate sa pagpunta. Kaya yun “kaming” mga tumupad sa 8 nag antay ng more than an hour.

Merong kubo dito, nasa may harapan namin.
Dito ako unang naligo, kahit wala akong dalang damig.
Hahaha. :D PEACE!
So after my post about Ondoy, Pepeng came here in northern Luzon! And here in Ilocos Norte we are so affected! Like hell! Good thing we are located at our towns town proper because some of our ka-baranggays evacuated because they are on near shores.
Tuesday last week, October 6 me my dad and our driver went to laoag to go to the bank and charge out cellphones and flashlights. Imagine my horor, when we got stranded in Caruan, Pasuquin because the National highway’s downside ( the things below the cement) is washout by strong water from the beach and water coming from the mountain. We stayed there for more than 1 hour because bulldozers need to put some sand and gravel below the hingway and they need to out the tress and other woods thats is stock under the bridge too. Thank God when we went home, the road is okay already the stranded passengers and bus’s already passed, because when we passed the bridge going to laoag only smalls vehicles are allowed to pass (van, motorcycles) and the people who rode in a Bus should transfer and walk to go to the other side of the bridge while the water in the beach is like being sprayed by the air.
October 4 until October 7 (in our town Burgos) we were out of electriv service! It was so boring! Gahd! Though me and my sister made a little “Session” things, we would light a candle and she would tell me stories. haha
But, anyways. No one is harmed in our town :) Supper thanks to God!
