What i do when i’m “rained-in”.

Manila – 6th day

Unfortunately we don’t have snow here in my place because Philippines is a tropical country which means we only have summer and rainy season, which is not so bad, because at least we still have something from above.

So instead of snow i’m just gonna change it to rain, and that becomes “How do you stay entertained when you’re rained-in?”. I don’t even know if there’s such a word like rained-in. But, whatever.

Usually, this “rained-in” is appropriate during storms or the “bagyo” as we call it here. And since, yes, rain and wind is very strong we don’t go out, though there are still some that will, but in our house we dont

So when I get “rained-in”, watching movies/TV, eating, surfing the net and sleeping is what I do most, I become a couch potato. Yes. I’m boring like that. Though sometimes I’ll sneak out and bathe under the rain, i will still wash after that though. Hee.

its raining..

While having a good sleep i heard a pouring rain and it made me get up and open the window. The cold air, the wind, the water it relaxes me a lot. It makes me feel ease. So, my morning today is nice. Thanks to the rain.

Under the rain: watching the Ilocandia Singing idol season 2

Yesterday, I and my mother came here in Vigan to attend a baking course that starts today. We set foot on bus at about 12 nn and arrive here in Vigan at about 4pm.

We ate empanada and calamay for meryenda.

Then, kuya James ask me if i want to watch Rivermaya perform. So, i said yes. And we went to Vigan Plaza Burgos at 9pm. Then as we wait, we didnt know that there is a s singing contest titled “Ilocandia Singing Idol season 2″ and so waited for the entire program to start.

While waiting we leaned in a tent they used for trading and selling in the afternnon. Then i got thirsty and i went to buy a water in a mini store beside the tent im leaning, luckyly they have monoblock chairs and so, me and kuya James sat there.

Then the program started, while the contestant #4 is rendering her song, it begun to rain, and again we`re lucky because we are under a tent, so little by little the tent was being crowded. So i was in the back of the tent already. Then the rain begun to pour heavily. we and others didnt notice that the water in the tent cover is full and and the plastic didnt hold it for to long, the water made me took a bath, first in my upper body then poor me the water went up again in my lower body. So there was no choice, but to go home because i totaly wet, then i told juya james why not we just watch even if we`re wet aand he agreed. So, we are there standing with the rain pouring heavinly on us.

 

It was a very good experience. Watching a singing contest in the rain and riding a motorcycle in the rain. It was my first time to do that. It was very fun. Though i have cold and im having a runnynose. th experience is still worth it.

And by the way, the contest is postponed so with the Rivermaya concert because when the rain poures hardly people went home XD.
